Best grind!!! This hand grinder is extremely well built and made every click is different size grind. It gives very very fine to course grid up to you. I’m doing v60 and so 14 grams of coffee on #8 is effortless few smooth turns and your done! Highly recommend it you won’t go out with out it ! Worth the money!

I have been using this grinder multiple times a day for just over twelve months, and it has performed flawlessly. To be clear, I mostly do a coarse grind for french press.

With its long handle and large diameter burrs, this grinder powers through even the lightest bean roasts quickly and with so little effort even my young daughter enjoys grinding up a brew for me.

Adjustment is super easy with the external collar dial, and with much less fuss than other grinders I've used.

The magnetically-attached grind tin can pop off if you hold the grinder too low, but this has only happened to me once or twice in the 1,000 or so times I have used it.

Cleaning is easy with the included brush and blower. I have not needed to disassemble the grinder to do a deep clean. A quick brush with every use, and a blow-out every 10 or so grinds, has kept it looking and working great.

The carry-case is fantastic, keeping everything clean and together. My only complaint is that the velcro strap inside is worn out.

I did my research before purchasing this grinder and, having used it for a year, I'm convinced it is one of the best grinders you can buy.

I've been making pour over coffee daily for over 30 years. I used a chemex most of the time and electric burr grinder. Recently I decided to become a more refined Barista, and researched hand grinders extensively. I thought I wanted a comandante, but they were out of stock everywhere, and I wasn't crazy about the amount of plastic pieces it has for the price. So, I decided to try the K-Plus and WOW!! It's Amazing!! I like the hefty weight and all metal components - the only plastic is the base of the handle which is OK with me. I don't have big hands but it's very comfortable in my grip. I used both the rubber bands included to help get the perfect grip. It feels so substantial and it's a Joy to use.

I make pour overs (Kalita wave, hario wood gooseneck are my two favorites) and I also make Aeropress. I use 7 for pourovers or 6.8 if I want stronger (I like Ethiopian beans best) and I use 4.5 - 5 for Aeropress depending on how strong I want it. Both come out perfect. The bean grind is consistent and flavorful.

If there is a downside, which is not really a negative for me, you have to be careful not to place your hands over the magnetic cup or it may jiggle loose while you are grinding which happened once. Sometimes the static makes the coffee stick in the barrel so I clean off the magnetic area often to keep that connection strong. Minor little things. I wasn't sure about the big logo on the rubbery part, but I'm used to it and I kind of like it now. The color, dark gray is appealing.

I highly recommend this grinder. Yes, it has a hefty price tag. But honestly, I am thrilled with my purchase. I can't wait to wake up in the morning and grind my coffee beans :) and I find myself making about three brews a day. It's a treat!

Pros:
- Magnetic attachment and removal is well thought out (twist to remove, don't pull). I love it.
- There's two options for the cup the grinds deposit into and they each screw on solidly. One is just a cup that the grinds deposit into and the other you can remove a plug from the bottom and the grinds fall out. I was surprised how much I like this second option - makes it very easy to deposit grinds into an areopress chamber - and it's not something I'm aware many other grinders offer.
- Range of grind sizes is amazing. Can do turkish to french press well.
- Dial for adjusting grind size is solid and feels nice.
- Grinds fast.
- Beautiful.

Nitpicks:
- Handle has nice wood, but the body isn't real wood - it's a grippy wood-looking rubber. Probably a design decision for good grip, but I would have liked some real wood.
- Have had static cling problems but running a wet spoon through your beans before grinding solves this.
- Not sure if chamber will hold advertised 40g of beans, you can do 30g, but when I need to grind 35g I just do a 20g + 15g grind. Maybe you could do 35g if you tried.

I have used a plethora of handgrinders: Hario Skerton, Hario Minimill, MBK Hausgrind, MBK Feldgrind 1.2, Kinu M47, Lido 2, Lido 3, Pharos, 1zpresso JX. For filter coffee, the 1zpresso K+ is the best handgrinder I've ever used. From a workflow perspective, the adjustment system is top of its class. The magnetic catch cup is a joy: easy to remove, easy to attach, just the right amount of force, and it stays on. The espresso dosing tool is a fantastic bonus, and makes grinding for espresso something to look forward to. The included carrying case contains lots of room to put other things inside. The included air duster and brush are very useful if you dont have some yet. The grinder is not top heavy and will be stable on a flat surface (something I cannot say for the kinu). The grinder itself is very fast for filter: good enough to zen out on, and fast enough that grinding will not be a chore nor will it be annoying. As for cup quality, it's the most transparent out of every grinder I've used.
