The jacket is hip-length and the sleeves, while just a bit long, are good as well. There is a pocketed hood in the collar for windy or wet conditions.
This jacket appears to be great for cool and slghtly cold weather, but I wouldn't recommend it as a primary jacket for deep winter conditions where goosedown, heavy fluff would be more appropriate. Nonetheless, this jacket is perfect for those late-Fall days when the wind is howling and chill factors are near or just below freezing.
All in all, this IS an aesthetic jacket that has plenty of carry storage, and will definitely be a great option in colder weather. Stylish and comfortable. Four Stars is my rating and an honest recommendation for consideration.

This one is no different. The design is nothing fancy or special but it's functional. Lot's of pockets that are pretty big and deep and you don't have to take your gloves off to reach in them which is nice.
It is polyester so it doesn't feel that nice but it is water resistant. It's not very fluffy but the insulation is very good and keeps you real warm in the snow. My husband has worn this several times in the snow this winter with only a sweatshirt underneath with no complaint.
The hood is roll away and removable. One minor downside is that it doesn't cover mouth which is somewhat important for ski jackets, although in their defense they are not calling this a ski jacket, but still.
It is a little bit on the heavy side, nothing super heavy but I think because of the material they used as a fill, this jacket is a little heavier than other higher quality ski jackets.
The pockets as explained in the title are one of the big pluses of this jacket. You can take your whole car with you out in those pockets. sunglasses, card holders, wallets, keys, cellphones, handwarmers, power banks and cell phones, (drinks) and anything you like there's room for it. There's also a good large pocket inside the jacket which is obviously not recommended when super cold.
My husband is 6 1 and this jacket goes just over his waist so I'd say it's a bit longer than average but it looks very nice and the design is very eye catching.
It's not super fluffy so one advantage is that you can wear it in a standard cold winter day even if you're not going skiing. San Diego doesn't give you that many days like that where its cold to the level you need to wear something like that but I can easily see it being worn as a regular winter outwear (with or without snow) in colder areas of the country.
Overall, I recommend this product for cold weathers but not as a ski jacket to be honest. I feel it lacks certain characters that are needed for skiing such as fluffiness and mouth coverage.
Overall, I do recommend
