So, after some disappointing coloring, it's time to clean up. NOT an easy task. It took me going over the window with windex and paper towels THREE times to get the smears out, and I had to use a lot of pressure and effort. My biceps were aching afterwards, so I guess you'll get a work-out if nothing else.
I think, ultimately however, that a dry erase marker would have more POP in the color department and be just as simple if not more so to clean. It's not a purchase I regret, but it probably won't be one I'll make again in the near future.
The colors also change considerably when dry (red turns pink).
If you want to do anything more than doodles and scribbles, I'd recommend the wide tip markers, or liquid chalk pens.
The upside is they are relatively easy to clean.. plan on alternating rounds of Windex and dry paper towels. The first round of glass cleaner smears it and leaves a hazy film.
Next time I might try vinegar.
Another upside, my toddler thinks it's cool he gets to draw on the window.
