Beware: abysmal customer service

VERY unhappy with this purchase, primarily due to the abysmal customer service from EMU. Or I should say utter lack thereof. This started when I ordered the micro boots in Berry. Note: in the photo the color appeared to be a muted red; but the item I received turned out to be dark purple. Ok not a huge deal right, as I would simply (?!) return them for an exchange to the black right? WRONG! In fact I have been trying for weeks now to contact EMU to accomplish this simple exchange without success. EMU seems to have zero interest in cultivating a happy long term customer relationship. Next time I'll pass on EMU entirety and at this point I want to return the boots for a refund. But good luck getting any kind of a response from this company at all. Is this their intentional business approach? I dont know but Amazon shoppers be advised.

Two boots: same size/different fit. Why???

I bought the black and the tan, BOTH in a size 6. I thought the black ones were a little on the small side. I have very small feet, not wide at all. But, after walking around in them, no socks, they didn't feel as small, and it came a day early. Thanks for that too! The tan ones are a different story all together. They are the EXACT SAME SIZE, but for some reason, they fit/feel like a seven! I tried them on barefooted, and with m my thickest pair of socks, and it still didn't work! My heel kept coming up, while the boots clunked around on the floor! Idk if these are new or if someone just returned them after they stretched them out 🤦‍♀️ So I had to give them to my 20yr old daughter who wears a size seven, and guess what?! They fit her! 🤷‍♀️ Why is there such a BIG DIFFERENCE in the boot's size but are just different colors? I don't have the kind of money to buy another pair, and I am afraid to order the five, and it be too small! Overall, the black and the tan are good boots. I am very happy with the black ones, but very disappointed that the tan ones were too big.

I purchased these boots for a great price. The only size on sale was 7 in the charcoal. I normally wear a 6 or 6 1/2 shoe. My foot is a tad over 9" long. The size 7 fit perfect! I realize the suede may soften and stretch but the boot is tight enough that even if that happens it will not be loose. Very well made and looks great with skinny jeans and leggings or tights. Love these boots!!

Loved everything about them - color, fit, feel, look,comfort & warmth! Too bad I ordered the size I always wear (9), when it turns out that in these I can also wear an 8. Exchange made with ease though. I’m saying ‘fit as expected’ because with socks the 9’s could have worked too. Hobson’s Choice, really.
