That said, this racket is perfectly fine. For the price, I doubt you could find a better one. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, and if you're looking for a beginner's racket, you'll be happy if you get this one.
The reasons I didn't like it boil down to a lot of personal preference. This racket is both light and head-light, so I ended up having to swing harder to get the same impact. I felt like off-center hits caused this racket to twist in my hand more than my other rackets.
The two things I did really like about this racket were that the face is nice and big -- with a big sweet spot to match -- and the grip is really comfortable: it really sits in my hand like it's made for me (an adult male with big hands), and I liked holding it.
If you don’t really have ambition to learn tennis or improve your skills, perhaps you are being dragged along with family or friends, this racket will due. When testing this racket out, I didn’t notice any performance issues or defects, however, the material is overall consistent with the price point.
As described by the brand, this is a beginner raquet that should hold up over time.
This is a decent beginner racket. It’s balanced for a beginner so don’t expect it to play like a $150+ Head racket. The strings are good for a beginning, thick and snug. The frame is sturdy and light. The grip is better than the cheaper ones we’ve used. Typically those are coming unwound in a week, this is sturdier than that.
It’s a usable racket for when you’re starting out, sturdier than most on the market while still being cheaper.
