I've been a loyal Linksys user for over 20 years and have always recommended their products but I can no longer do so. I purchased several (more than 5) of these devices and they worked pretty well (there was some minor issues) through Firmware Version 18.104.22.168026. However, In the Version 1.1.10.XXXX/2.1.10XXXX they added "Linksys Aware", a pay service module, which causes many devices like Ecobee thermostats and items with TP-link network device connections to become problematic. They since released 4 new versions of the firmware and the problem issue is still there.
