Could be brighter, but solid and well made.

Got a couple of these for desk lamps and first impression were they are nice and solid feeling with decent weight in the base and they look cool/futuristic even in the off mode.

Once turned on they give a good but not amazing amount of light out of them, I'd say around the same amount as the gen 1 color bulbs did so about 600lm (whereas the latest bulbs put out 800). Color reproduction is great across the range and they are fast to respond to the app.

Not cheap, I think might be just a touch more $ than they should be and probably should be more around the $150 each than $199 but I'm happy I have them they make working from home a much nicer experience.

Very expensive for what you get, but you know what when you click buy. I was not expecting the thing to work only half the time when plugged in - once it works it stays working but it’s finicky. I have no doubt it’s because when it arrived the box looked like it had been drop-kicked most of the way here. From that point of view it’s surprising it works at all! Decent light source, I disagree with reviewers who say otherwise- it’s an accent light not a reading lamp, and it’s plenty bright for the job.

Just bought four of those, 3 floor and 1 table Signe Hue lamp and they are incredibly well made and look gorgeous in our home. Adding them to the setup was as easy as all the other Hue lighting before, we now have a total of 48 Hue lightning gadgets in and outside, almost maxed out the Hue bridge with allows a total of 50. The hue App had a firmware update ready as soon as the Signe showed up witch is nice but the update process on all 4 Signe’s took about 3 hours on a gigabit internet connection. Very happy with this addition to our home, the Signe’s replaced older Hue Iris Lamps we had for years.

THINK THIS MAY BE A FIRE HAZARD cord isn't good

I have so many HUE products and this is by far the least impressive. I only bought one but honestly would love 2 of them but will not be buying another one. I loved it at first but the cord is super fidgety, if it moves the slightest it stops working completely. HONESTLY NERVOUS ABOUT A FIRE HAZARD TO BE HONEST. Also, if the electricity goes out this thing immediately turns on regardless when it comes back on. No other Hue lights do this the rest of the hues just stay off when it comes back on. ***Hue please contact me***
