This card performs no better than the extreme (non pro) which is 2/3 of the price, you get slightly faster writes but really not worth it. Get the Samsung pro plus, which is still cheaper and performs closer to the advertised speeds of this.

I bought this primarily to use as a boot drive in a 2GB Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (pop goes my warranty?) but in a fast USB 3.0 card reader rather than in the Pi's A1-rated integrated microSD card slot.

This should provide performance close to a very fast HDD but the size of a little fingernail, and that will be plenty fast enough as it's going to be used as a 1080p network streaming media centre with all media stored remotely.

The capacity I chose is far larger than I need, but this will hopefully help the drive's longevity, not that I've had a single Sandisk microSD card fail in donkey's years of Pi-ing.

I'll give this one a big thumbs-up for now.

Dear Buyers,

Please don’t get fooled by fancy numbers mention in the product page or description. The 200 mbps speed can only be achieved buy SanDisk’s own card reader which costs around 8-10k on Amazon. No matter how good, branded card reader or laptop’s own card reader you use, you won’t be able to get nowhere closer to 200 mbps. Invest in this SD card only if 50+ mbps write speed is required by your device to perform at its best. My DJI Osmo Pocket was performing good with 4K 30fps recording with the included Normal SanDisk SD card which has around 35mbps only write speed and it costs way less then this Extreme Pro. Both cards are giving me same results in My DJI Camera. So, until unless you have latest generation cameras or devices which can utilize its potential, just buy normal SD cards. Normal 128GB will cost you way less than this. I have attached my test results with this review. I wasted my money on this so that you don’t have to. No other reviewers talk about actual stuff. Thanks
