As a young girl, particularly in high school, I had a strong passion for science, technology and engineering but always felt “dumb” due to certain social barriers.
I saw myself in this book, so I had a strong connection to the story.
The book emanates the importance of diverse teams, collaboration and challenges social norms in STEM to prove that anything is achievable with a growth mindset.
I’ve gone ahead and bought 5 copies off this book to deliver to the grade 7 girls at my old high school. I think everyone should read it!
