Add & Manage Payment Methods

You can add or update your payment methods by visiting the Payment section in Your Account.

To add or update a payment method in Your Account :

  1. Go to Your Account
  2. Click on the Payment options section. You will be asked to login to your account. After you login to your account, do one of the following:
    • To add a payment method, click Add a card.
    • To edit/delete a payment method, select the saved card from 'Your credit and debit cards' section and then click Edit or Delete button as per your requirement.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

To add a payment method while placing an order:

  1. Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. On the Select a payment method page you can add your credit card or debit card details by choosing Add a Card in the Add Payment Method section.
  3. Continue placing your order.

These details will be saved and surfaced as a saved credit/debit card when you place your next order.

To verify your mobile number for COD payment method:

When choosing Cash on Delivery payment method your mobile number needs to be verified on Amazon.

After choosing Cash on Delivery as your delivery method, you will be prompted to enter a One-Time Password that will be sent to the mobile number registered on your account.
Once done, click Continue to proceed with your order.

  • If you verify a mobile number that is already registered on a different account, that other account will be disabled.
  • For steps on changing the mobile number linked to an account, please go to the Change Your Account Settings help page.

In case you do not receive the OTP:

  • Select Resend OTP.
  • Make sure that you have entered your number correctly without any spaces. To edit, click Change.
