All credit and debit card transactions on Amazon require you to enter the CVV number to provide you with increased protection while making payments using your card.
CVV stands for Card Verification Value and is generally the last three or 4 digits of the number present on the back of your card. It's located in or near the area where you sign your card.
When you make payments using credit/ debit card, your card number will be stored on our secure server so that you do not have to enter it every time you make a purchase using the same card. However, we will ask for your CVV number every time you place an order. Your CVV number will not be stored on our server to ensure enhanced security of your transaction.
