TL;DR - The Switch does what its supposed to do best - Gaming. There's practically no other functionality which it can provide - Eg. Youtube, netflix etc. (although the hardware allows it). And there's a refresh launching end of Aug (with serial numbers starting with "XKW") which has the battery life bumped by +2-3 hours at least. If you game for longer hours - I'd recommend to wait it out.
The OS, touchscreen and display are top notch. Games are rendered in 720p. I have yet to hook it upto the TV to provide feedback on it.
Few Pointers : 1. Be sure to invest in a GOOD micro SD Card in case you're looking to download games. Games range between 5 ~ 22GB, so the internal storage of 32GB will get used up fast
2. When setting up your Nintendo account be sure to select the region as "USA" instead of "UAE", otherwise you wont be able to buy the games from Nintendo eShop. Paypal works just fine as a method of payment
3. There are really cool retro games (eg. Tetris, NES Games pack) which are downloadable for FREE but require the Nintendo subscription pack to run. Bummer.
4. There's no BT Audio support, so be sure to invest in a good headphone. JBL T110 are great bang for buck with this one
5. Be sure to check the price for a physical card price of a game before purchasing from Nintendo. A lot of times recent releases are cheaper on amazon.ae than from the nintendo estore.
Well didn't know how to react but it's probably a scam yes i received a nintendo switch but it feels like weird have bad smell and the screen is yellowish all these materials are different the joy cons, dock, etc.. i was ready and happy to play some games but i wasn't comfortable playing it this looks weird as hell im not trusting to buy stuff from here again i don't if i can get a refund i saw this lowest price and it hurts alot but i guess i'll just sell it for cheapest buy new one
