I pretty much only play FPS's these days along with the occasional game of FIFA, so I know a good one when they come along (my first FPS game was Doom on a laptop many years ago). This one is brilliantly thought out and immediately engaging. No need to spend money on loot if you have patience but there's a LOT of temptation to buy the latest cool characters and weapons so parents beware! On that note I also think it's unnecessarily gory - there's no need for blood in these games and I can't play this in front of my kid as a result, I wish you could switch that aspect off. Other than that this is my fave shooter of all time I'd say. Mental, bonkers fun.
